1. What is Classic Plus?
Classic Plus is not a patch, season, or difficulty toggle. It is permanent Vanilla that grows wider, not taller.
Same Azeroth, same level 60, same slow travel. Plus new zones where the map sits empty, new 60 dungeons and raids, and new class quests.
The phrase covers small ideas like adding Hyjal to big ones like housing. The 300k survey at 57 questions groups asks into World, Player, and Systems.

2. What is Project Camelot?
Project Camelot is an unannounced project name found by datamining. It links to encrypted WoW Patch 1.60 lines.
Two parallel lines exist: 1.60.0 on wowdev5 and 1.60.1 on wowdev2. Both ticked near September 1, with wowdev2 as tip.
Latest tip is 69638 on wowdev2, September 1, seen by a CDN watcher. Prior tip 69609 landed August 29 across two envs.
Other signals include Heroic and Epic labels, vendor-env appearances, and Classic games in Armory on August 27. Logs show 29 encrypted builds since October 2025.
Internal codenames change before launch. Even if Camelot ships, the store name will differ.
3. Why do players want it?
2019 proved demand for original pacing. Later steps moved through TBC, Wrath, Cata, and MoP in order.
Each step was popular but moved away from Vanilla. Anniversary offers a fresh Vanilla to TBC corridor with Dual Spec and Group Finder.
Season of Discovery tested the other path with runes, level caps, and hidden content. It worked as a season with a half-life.
Classic Plus is that experiment made permanent. The lab was seasonal, while the wish is a world that waits.
Private data shows the gap too. The tracker lists 108 servers, with Vanilla+ at 18 rows and 10 unknown pop.
4. What do players want?
The wishlist has eight items, each with a tracker gap. New dungeons and raids top the list.
New zones rank high, led by Hyjal at 0 live. Class quests and open-world content show only 2 to 3 partial rows.
Weak-spec fixes show 4 to 5 live rows. Race and combo asks center on Dwarf Shamans, still 0 live.
Dual Spec and QoL vary, with cross-faction at 8 live. Guild banks sit at 1 live, while PvP asks span sieges and solo queues.
The rule is simple: add without shrinking the social world. Private Classic+ already allows cross-faction but skips housing.
5. When could it land?
No confirmed date exists. The next window is BlizzCon 2026 on September 12-13 in Anaheim.
Badge pickup starts September 11. The Opening Ceremony streams free, with drops and Classic Cup on the floor.
Some cite November as a pattern from past seasons. No evidence ties Camelot to that month or to a level cap.
