The biggest Classic Plus number is not a build. It is 300,000 votes.
The survey spans three buckets: World, Player, Systems. 57 questions The 300,000+ figure is confirmed on the results page as of September 27 ("So far we've collected over 300,000 survey responses"). The question count is not: it does not appear on that page, so 57 rests on our September 1 reading and is not confirmed.
It speaks for players, not Blizzard. Ahead of the Sep 12 Opening Ceremony this was the best census available; the ceremony has since happened and this post is a September 1 reading.
Our tracker covered 110 servers with Classic Plus entries and history events on September 1, the date of this reading. It now holds 145 entries, so the zero-counts below are a September 1 snapshot rather than a live claim, and they should be read as "as of the first week of September".
Put the wishlist next to that inventory and a gap map appears fast.
How to read this

Left side is the top request. Right side is how many ship it now.
We name the survey without linking out. The tracker is the receipt.
The World: where to go
- Mount Hyjal is the top zone ask. Zero live servers ship a full Hyjal at 60.
- Uldum ranks top five. Zero tracked servers ship it as a quested zone.
- Gilneas ranks top five. Only incomplete backports exist, none playable Classic-side.
- Pirate isles near Booty Bay rank top ten. No server ships an island chain.
- QuelThalas and Silithus rank top ten. Only asset teases exist, no live zone.
- New level 60 dungeon is wanted, 10-man leads. Three servers ship partial customs.
- New level 60 raid is wanted, 20-man leads. One or two ship partial boss packs.
The World bucket is where survey and leak chatter agree most.
It is also where private servers delivered least so far this year.
No Vanilla+ realm has shipped a new zone at Classic scope yet.
If Classic Plus opens with Hyjal plus one 20-man, it takes the lead at once.
The Player: who to be
- Dwarf Shaman is the top combo ask. Zero Classic-era servers ship it live.

- Tauren Paladin and Undead Shaman also rank high. Zero servers ship them.
- High Elf, Ogre and Naga rank high. Only WotLK custom rows ship new races.
- Class tuning splits voters. Four or five live rows ship talent reworks.
- Level cap splits 60 forever versus 70 or 80. Every Vanilla row stays at 60.
- Professions want recipes, not new skills. Two or three rows ship partial tiers.
The Player bucket is where private servers move fastest each patch.
A new talent costs less than a new zone to design and test.
Even so, the top ask of Dwarf Shaman is zero for 110 live.
That shows private Classic+ stayed conservative where voters feel bold.
The Systems: how to play
- Heroic dungeons are the top system ask. Zero Classic-scope servers ship one.
- Cross-realm and cross-faction rank high. Eight live rows already ship it.
- Seasonal events rank high. Two live rows run event bosses or spawns.
- Guild banks rank mid-high. Project Legacy shipped them Aug 26.
- Transmog divides purists. Four or five rows ship it, achievements stay rare.
- Pet battles and housing rank bottom. Voters and servers both reject them.
Systems is where survey wishes and tracker supply overlap most.
Cross-faction is done. Guild banks have one live proof. Heroics sit at zero.
That zero was the cleanest win an official Sep 12 reveal could have claimed.
What the gap says before BlizzCon
Biggest asks are geography. Hyjal, Uldum, Gilneas and a new raid sit unshipped.
No private zone yet passes a Classic Plus fidelity test at raid scale.
Easiest asks are also unshipped. Dwarf Shaman needs a trainer and quests.
Heroics need a toggle plus a loot table. Both poll top five, both sit zero.
That looks like a choice to keep Classic looking classic, not a tech limit.
Where private moves first is talents, cross-faction and transmog systems.
Had Sep 12 shipped those three, it would have read as catch-up rather than reveal. Hyjal, heroics and the level number were the things to watch.
Twelve days out, votes wanted Hyjal and a new class table to match.
