What the stream tells you about itself

The status line above is not a guess and it is not a cached copy of a page. It reads the station's own Icecast headers, which is the same handshake any player does. The values below were read from the live stream on 21 October 2026.

How to tune in

One caveat about those links. The playlists, the web player and the now playing feed are served by the same host as the audio, and that host is periodically taken down for maintenance while the team updates the station's site. When that happens the metadata and playlist links stop resolving and the direct stream keeps working. The status line above tells you which state you are in, because it probes the stream itself rather than trusting a cached answer.

The Signal's Story

This station is the loudest survivor in the private-server scene. What started as an in-game radio inside Turtle WoW, tuned with a button on the minimap, grew into a full community operation: DJs like Zappo Zapblast, the live show Living in the Past, voice-acted skits and RP ads, plus a WoW Radio app on Google Play and a YouTube channel.

When Turtle WoW shut down on May 15, 2026 after Blizzard's legal action and a binding injunction, the broadcasting team kept the signal alive. It rebranded as Out of Bounds Entertainment, "Your Gaming Radio Station. From the old Everlook Broadcasting Co. team", and has been streaming around the clock ever since. The in-game minimap tuner died with the server; the station itself did not.
