Project Epoch Reborn opened its doors at 16:00 UTC on October 23, 2026 on its own 3.3.5a build 12340 client. After being listed as closed right up to the gate, the homepage now shows realm status Checking… and the client/version section is live, which matches an open gate rather than a last-minute slip.
What it brings back
Reborn is a community-run continuation restoring Epoch's custom content: original quest chains woven through familiar regions and new areas, reworked classes, restored dungeons and raids with custom abilities, transmogrification, Racial Knowledge questlines unlocking alternate racial sets at level 60, and Warmode world PvP with Bloody Tokens. Optional challenges return: Soul of Iron (reach 60 without dying) and the Explorer's Contract (half XP for a slower route). The team states "no pay-to-win and no donor gear", and registration is open at the site.
Where to meet
The community has moved to a self-hosted platform, Fluxer (chat.project-epoch.org), replacing their previous Discord as the front door to the team. The forums, bug tracker and changelog remain on the site.
Notes for the tracker
We had Epoch marked as dev with "LAUNCHES 23 OCTOBER 2026" and no player counter published. After the gate it is now live at the published time, but a public population figure is still not visible on the homepage; until one is verifiably published we are keeping popTier: unknown and flipping the status framing from "closed" to "live/launched" in the tracker entry.
