Blizzard published two more class deep dives on October 7: Mage and Shaman, Rogue and Warlock. Coverage now stands at 8 of 10 classes, with Paladin and Monk remaining.
The structure holds across all four posts
Every deep dive so far carries the identical talent paragraph: talents from level 10, milestones at 11, 21 and 31, plus the new 16-point milestone, changed at class trainers, Dual Specialization at 40.
Four posts, eight classes, zero variation in the framework. The 16-point milestone is no longer a decision for four classes; it is the talent system, pending only the last two posts.
Mage: a new minor tradeskill
Comprehension, a Mage-specific minor tradeskill for reading and deciphering scrolls dropped by creatures, with various benefits. New tradeskills are rare in this project's scope, and a minor one gated to a single class is rarer still.
Otherwise: Arcane setting up follow-up casts, Fire rewarding crit timing, Frost keeping control with new cross-school interactions.
Shaman: the totem package
Longer-lasting weapon imbues, faster and longer-lasting totems, totem tracking, Call spells, Totemic Recall, Totemic Projection. The theme is reducing repeated setup while keeping placement and timing central, across Elemental, Enhancement and Restoration.
Rogue: Sap stops breaking stealth
Sap no longer breaks Stealth, poisons gain charges and stack with temporary weapon enchantments, Feint threat reduction doubled. The framing is explicit: Rogues get a party and raid crowd-control benefit that requires their unique setup skills.
Warlock: Banes split from Curses
Banes separate damaging effects from utility Curses, pets scale with master stats, revised Firestones and Spellstones. Talent updates across all three specs for DoTs, drains, demon synergies and Shadow/Fire combinations.
What remains
Paladin and Monk have no published deep dive. At the current pace of two posts per week, both land before launch, but the pattern so far (pairs on Sep 30 and Oct 7) suggests one more pair rather than a steady drip.
