September 14, 2026 — Two items from BlizzCon got official answers after the show: Blizzard corrected the level range for the Krol'dok Stronghold dungeon in a forum post, and the WoW Team confirmed in an interview that Forever will not ship a WoW Token or paid boosts.
Krol'dok Stronghold is level 40-45, not 40-55
In a blue post on the official WoW forums, Blizzard said the Krol'dok Stronghold dungeon was "listed alongside an incorrect level range" in material from BlizzCon. The corrected range is levels 40-45. The same post published the official brackets for all nine launch dungeons in Forever:
| Dungeon | Level range |
|---|---|
| The Hall of Thanes | 13-18 |
| Ruins of Lordaeron | 15-20 |
| Excavation Site | 24-29 |
| City of Dalaran | 28-33 |
| The Drowned City | 35-40 |
| Krol'dok Stronghold | 40-45 |
| Alcaz Prison | 48-53 |
| Blackmaw Hold | 55-60 |
| Shaper's Terrace | 58-60 |
Our Forever hub has been updated with the full bracket list. The roster matches our tracked nine dungeons with the exception that Blizzard's official list names the second dungeon "Excavation Site" — the Whelgar's Excavation reading came from the earlier panel recap phrasing.
No WoW Token, no boosts
In a BlizzCon interview conducted by Destin for the Tailosive pod, lead designer Clay Stone said: "No plans for anything like a WoW Token or a boost." The wider sentiment, per the interview: "The Journey is the game. End game is amazing, but the journey is so important."
The interview also touched on the team behind Forever — executive producer Josh Greenfield, lead designer Clay Stone, and lead software engineer Nora Mills — and on why the Riverglades was chosen as a new zone: it was "a chunk of map that really hadn't been filled out yet," giving players somewhere to go besides spamming Scarlet Monastery.
The no-Token, no-boost line answers a question on our Sep 17 Q&A list — whether the "no plans right now" framing left the door open. Stone's wording was unqualified: no Token, no boost plans.
