NOT the dead Conquest of Azeroth. That entry was the Ascension network realm, shut down Sep 4 2026 after a Blizzard C&D. This is a separate open-source continuation running on the AzerothCore emulator core, and it is live. 22 classes across three specs each, from Witch Doctor and Chronomancer to Starcaller, Runemaster, Reaper, Bloodmage, Cultist, Venomancer, Tinker and Felsworn. A PUBLIC BUG TEST REALM, not a live server: its own about page says it exists purely to help find and fix bugs before changes ship, that accounts, characters and progress can be wiped or reset at any time without notice, and that it is not a permanent or live server. Realmlist logon.coa-development.org, launcher 0.6.9 at 158 MB for Windows, account creation gated by Cloudflare Turnstile. Live feed read October 1 2026, updated every minute straight from the game server with bots and GMs excluded: 27 to 29 players online across three readings, 2,442 characters created, 32 guilds, 22 classes to play, level spread 11 in levels 1-14, 11 in 15-29, 4 in 30-44, 0 in 45-59 and 3 at 60. Publishes dated detailed changelogs with GitHub issue numbers: the Sep 30 2026 entry covers Bloodmage Blood Shards, resting at inns, a large restoration of custom questing into every starting zone, per-class trainers, rideable road caravans, a CoA Forge in-game world editor and a quest-content validator; the Sep 29 entry restores 86 templateless vanity cosmetics. Note the stated class count is 22 where the dead realm's entry said 21 times 3 specs
