WarCrown opens a dedicated Latin American server on October 31, announced October 6.

What was announced

A regional realm for Latin American players, motivated by latency: distance from the project's European infrastructure means higher ping, and a dedicated server brings the experience closer to home.

Explicitly stated: the same Wrath of the Lich King Classic 3.4.5 experience, same progression, features and development, with the EU realm continuing unchanged. An expansion, not a migration.

No exact launch time yet. The post promises realm details and launch-day information closer to opening.

The surrounding week

The LATAM post sits in an active seven days: launcher 1.6.1 on October 5 requiring a manual update (1.6.0 retired, cannot self-update), HD models and textures on October 4 with a toggle back to the original look, and 2,000 registered accounts passed on September 27.

A project shipping client updates, visual overhauls and regional expansion in one week is operating at a pace worth noting. Whether that pace holds through a second realm launch is the question October 31 answers.

Calendar position

This is the sixth dated private-server claim we hold: UwowSA (Oct 10), uWoW and Nozdor (Oct 16), Stonetavern gate and Epoch Reborn (Oct 23), Luminary (Oct 31), and now WarCrown LATAM (Oct 31). Two launches sharing Halloween.

Re-check on the date, result published either way.
