RavenCraft, built on the original 1.18.1 Turtle WoW core by former project contributors, confirmed its August 22, 6:00 PM GMT+2 launch with a phased content progression schedule. The team positions itself against clones rebuilding from the older leaked code, calling those efforts AI-driven approximations of 1.17-era content.

Update (Aug 21): Account creation is now open and the client download goes live today. The first realm is named Medivh, with a launch event running August 22–29: reach 20 hours of playtime to earn 50 Fashion Coins, the 28-slot Loremaster's Backpack, and a Murky companion pet — delivered per character, non-tradeable. The team is also pushing account security at launch: strong passwords plus two-factor authentication, with a reminder that staff will never ask for credentials.

Update (Aug 22): Medivh is live — authentication servers opened ahead of the scheduled 6:00 PM GMT+2 slot, and the launch event runs through August 29. RavenCraft becomes the first of the Turtle successor projects to actually ship, beating Capybara's latest build and Octo's restoration to market.
