Two quick tracker-adjacent updates before the weekend.
Project Reforged — WotLK v1.3.0 adds Faebright compatibility
The HD visual-overhaul mod for the 3.3.5 client released v1.3.0 on August 21 with a dedicated compatibility patch for Faebright (tracked: Faebright). The patch covers player/NPC models, buildings, creature textures, and Westfall foliage — meaning the mod now works out of the box on that realm without manual load-order juggling. Vanilla branch remains at v5.5.2 (June 24). → projectreforged.github.io/wotlk/
Project Legacy — Patch 1.12.4 this Wednesday
The independent Vanilla+ project confirmed 1.12.4 launches August 26 at 8:00 PM UK time. The patch brings Guild Banks (low tab costs so new guilds aren't priced out), a five-round scripted Gadgetzan arena challenge for levels 45–50 with blue-quality rewards, and talent inspection. World Discoveries was honestly held back — the team won't ship copy-pasted filler. Details tracked at Project Legacy.
BlizzCon watch: 21 days out
The Classic+ hub timeline now includes the Jan 29 State of Azeroth cutoff (Blizzard later confirmed intentional) and the 29 encrypted builds logged since October. Skeleton posts are drafted for reveal day — Classic+ and WotLK Anniversary — ready to fill and flip on September 12–13.
