NycterMoon is now Microbot WoW. Not a new realm, not a sister project: the same site, rebranded, with the old name removed everywhere except the domain.
Read today, nyctermoonwow.net mentions Microbot five times and NycterMoon zero times. The page title is Microbot WoW. The product is AI companions for solo and group play on a Vanilla foundation, with a hire-at-the-inn system and a companions control panel.
Why a rename is worth recording
Because our entry still says NycterMoon, and a reader arriving from a search or a toplist will find a site that never uses that word. The domain is the only remaining connection between the name we publish and the project as it exists.
We are keeping the entry name with the rebrand recorded in it, rather than renaming outright, for one reason: renames reverse. A project that rebranded once can rebrand back or move domains, and an entry that tracks the rename in its details survives either outcome. The Vanillaplus rename earlier this week was different: there the URL itself was the problem.
What we cannot tell you
Whether anything changed besides the name. The companion system, the rates, the realm structure are described in the same terms as our August read, and a rebrand with identical content is a marketing event rather than a server event. If the roster, rates or realms changed under the new name, that would be a separate correction and we have no evidence of one.
