Two finds, opposite ends: one you can play in a tab right now, one you cannot play at all — on purpose.
TL;DR
Keldurn: Vanilla 1.12 in the browser, original rates, EN/ES, live login. Vaelith: ground-up WotLK rebuild, closed dev, no dates, exemplary honesty page. Tracked playable + dev.
Keldurn: WoW in a tab
Reddit thread claims browser 1.12 at original rates, no lag, active admin. Verified: login + registration live, EN/ES toggle present. Gameplay sits behind the account (unverified beyond the thread). If the client holds up, lowest-friction entry in the scene — no download, Mac-friendly per reporter.
Vaelith: honesty as a feature
Closed WotLK dev realm: custom systems/interface, extension layer over 3.3.5a, server-side everything, no shop ever. Status page states what is done, in motion, and undecided — dates explicitly refused until designs final. No public address, Discord-only announcements. This is how dev-status communication should read everywhere.
What's next
Keldurn needs a gameplay confirm (account-gated, pending). Vaelith needs nothing — watch Discord for the open test.
