We dated a raid unlock six days early, and two launch dates had already expired

Re-checking the least recently verified entries this week turned up three of our own errors, and they share a cause. Each one is a date we recorded from a source we can no longer reconstruct, on a realm where we never had a working status signal. A release date looks like a plan, and plans do not get re-checked.

Triumvirate: the raid was six days later than we said

Our entry dated the Icecrown Citadel unlock to August 22. The project's own news says Molten Core and Zul'Aman opened 25 July, Gruul's Lair followed on 8 August, and Icecrown Citadel went live at 20:00 on August 28.

Phase 2 went live Aug 22 Phase 2 went live 20:00 on August 28, with the raid path running 25 July, 8 August, 28 August.

We were six days early on the centrepiece of the season. Our previous check was dated August 25, three days before the fact we got wrong, so this was not a stale-cache problem. It was a date recorded from somewhere we cannot now identify.

The same re-read also corrected the shape of the season. We described a two-phase progression. Their roadmap has five dated phases running through 20 March 2027, and they carry their own caveat that later dates may move with community progression and realm health, so we record the later three as the project's stated plan rather than as fact.

Two smaller corrections while we were in the entry: we had attributed "Mythic+ Season 2" to Phase 2, and their homepage does not use that language at all, so the phrase appears to have been ours. Their phase-two feature is a level-60 Mythic+ across TBC and WotLK dungeons released in waves of eight, with loot tuned to 10-player raid level. And the live counters now read 11,706 accounts and 139 concurrent, down from 193 on our last check; that sits inside our small band, so the tier stands.

Perseus: playable for a month, listed as in development

TwinStar's fresh MoP realm Persés launched August 29, 2026. Our entry still said dev with no date, and it was a month stale.

A structural problem surfaced with it. TwinStar runs four realms off one landing page: Persés (MoP 5.0 progressive, launched 29 August), Kronos V (Vanilla 1.12.1, launched 9 May 2026), Proudmoore (Mythic+ Cataclysm, billed as the world's first) and Helios (MoP 5.4.8). Our tracker had Perseus and Proudmoore as separate entries pointing at their own addresses, when in fact they are realms within one network. Perseus is now playable and its pending release field is cleared, because a launch that has happened is history, not a plan.

Proudmoore: we had been tracking a placeholder

Proudmoore was dev with a release date of September 13, which passed and produced no launch we could find. Checking the address we had on file, proudmoore.gg, it returns 37 characters of page title and nothing else. It is a placeholder, not the project.

The actual realm is TwinStar's, reachable on their shared page, and it is live. Entry corrected to playable and repointed.

So Proudmoore had two errors stacked: a status that never changed and an address that was never the project's.

ArdenWoW: a release date fifteen days past

Fourth of the same family, found in the same sweep. ArdenWoW carried release: 2026-09-13. Fifteen days after that date the site still says closed alpha, with invitations to issue "in the coming days." Release field cleared, status stays dev, and the entry now carries what the site actually says.

The server is worth watching for one reason: 21 custom classes, the largest roster on our tracker, plus more than 1,800 hand-placed collectible items in the open world. We wrote it up separately, with the honest limit that a closed alpha means we are reading a feature list rather than reviewing a game.

The pattern, and the fix

Four entries, four dates, and the three that were wrong were all dev entries. Live servers with a working status signal got re-checked, because there was a reason to. A pending release date is the one field that can sit wrong indefinitely without anything looking wrong.

Two changes follow. First, this week's sweep cleared the release field on anything that is now playable, so the field means only what it should mean: a launch still to come. Second, a release date is no longer accepted on its own. Every one of these four dates was recorded from an unrecorded source, and the honest state for a date you cannot cite is no date.

Three entries could not be verified at all this week and now say so rather than implying a status: Duskhaven returns a Cloudflare challenge to a plain request, WallCraft serves only a login portal with no status information published, and Rivals Beyond returns a single title line. All three stay dev, unverified.

That is 98 live entries still unchecked since September 15. This is the first batch, and the queue is the real work.

SOURCES: Triumvirate-WoW, TwinStar and ArdenWoW's own sites, plus the placeholder at proudmoore.gg, all first-party, read September 28, 2026. Superseded values are shown struck through above rather than deleted, per our correction policy. The rules are in the grading scale.
