Fourth nostalgic batch: four audited first-party, two bands from live counters, one dev, one unknown.

EvolvedWotLK: 749 online, and 748 of them are labeled bots

The standout finding in weeks of population reads. EvolvedWotLK's widget reports Online Characters 749, then breaks it down: 1 human, 748 playerbots.

Every private server with bots faces the same choice about what to publish, and almost all of them publish the undifferentiated total. A project that labels its own bots in the headline count is reporting more truthfully than servers showing larger numbers with no breakdown. The tier is tiny on the single human player, which is what the figure means once read correctly rather than as printed.

The other three

OmeWoW, a 255 funserver with PvP, arena and voter rankings, carries one headcount: 12 website visitors online. That measures web traffic, not players, and the entry records it as such with the tier unknown. Its news is dated August 2026.

Stealth WoW, a European TBC 2.4.3 custom realm, shows a player panel reading Players Coming soon, Live at launch. Not yet open, recorded dev on its own pre-launch status.

Dark Storm Reloaded, a TBC realm with top-player ladders and a VIP tier, reads no players currently online. Tier tiny on the site's own zero.

Six more dead domains

Skufograd, Stormcrown, Foxiservers, Strikefall, SigmaWoW and DarkzoneWoW all fail to resolve. Noted without entries, as ever: a dead domain is evidence of no website, not of a shutdown.
