Cross-checking the two class deep dives against what we published earlier in the beta surfaced a change worth writing down on its own, because it is a number a returning player will notice immediately.
Talents at level 10
Both deep dives, dated 30 September, say talents become available at level 10:
"Starting at level 10, talents become available and keep the familiar structure, including the same number of rows and one-point milestone talents at 11, 21, and 31 points, now joined by a new 16-point milestone."
Original WoW unlocked talents at level 10, so that part is unchanged. What is new is the 16-point milestone sitting alongside the original 11, 21 and 31, which is a fourth row of one-point talents in a structure we have otherwise kept intact.
Dual Specialization at level 40
Both posts state Dual Specialization becomes available at level 40, and that changing talents including Legacy talents requires a class trainer in one of the major cities.
This is the line we would flag hardest. In original WoW, Dual Specialization arrived at level 40 as well, so the level is unchanged, but the posts pair it with the Legacy System's existence, and the two together mean a character in Forever is making talent decisions against an account-wide point economy we have documented separately.
Why this is worth a separate item
Because our earlier beta coverage recorded the 41 and 42 point talent gates and the level 10 unlock from a different source, and this is the first time Blizzard has stated the talent structure itself in its own words with a milestone layout attached.
The disagreement is not a contradiction. It is a shift in what is being specified. Earlier reads described gates; these posts describe the whole tree layout. We are recording the new statement as the authoritative one because it comes from the developer, and we are not striking the earlier numbers because they were not wrong, only less complete.
The one thing that is genuinely surprising
Shadow Word: Death at level 32, baseline for all Priests. That is a level-40 ability arriving eight levels early, and it is the largest single deviation from Classic in either post.
Baseline abilities moved around a lot in these two posts: Aimed Shot at 20 for Hunters, Fear Ward and Devouring Plague at 20 for Priests, Divine Spirit at 30, Shadow Word: Death at 32, and Blessing of Kings and Improved Mark of the Wild demoted from talents to baseline.
That pattern, talents moving to baseline, is the structural story of these deep dives and it cuts against the headline. The trees are being kept familiar in shape while several of the things players used to spend points on become free. A reader who assumes Forever talents will feel like Classic talents plus a new milestone row will be wrong about what the points buy.
What we cannot tell you
Both posts carry the same caveat: "class abilities and talents may continue to evolve throughout the beta test and are subject to additional changes." And these four classes are half the game. The other six have no published deep dive, so we cannot say whether the 16-point milestone is universal or a decision for these four.
