September 17, 2026 — the WoW Forever beta rebalances First Aid, and the headline change so far: First Aid now crafts Healing Potions, taking those recipes away from Alchemy (Icy Veins, Anshlun; wowforeverclassic.com's First Aid page independently confirms healing potions appear as First Aid crafts, though it flags whether Alchemy can also make them as "unclear"). First Aid keeps its regular bandages on top of the new potions.
The required First Aid skill levels, as read from the beta data:
- Minor Healing Potion — First Aid 55
- Lesser Healing Potion — First Aid 85
- Healing Potion — First Aid 135
- Greater Healing Potion — First Aid 155 (from Manual: Greater Healing Potion)
- Superior Healing Potion — First Aid 215 (from Manual: Superior Healing Potion)
- Major Healing Potion — First Aid 275 (from Manual: Major Healing Potion)
Materials shift too: the potions still need herbs and vials, but now also pull in cooking recipes such as Mild Spices and Hot Spices. In other WoW versions all of these are crafted by Alchemy, so the move is a real division-of-labor change in Forever — in practice, classes that used to skip First Aid because they could self-heal now have a stronger reason to train it, since health potions become available on demand while leveling.
The wider First Aid kit gains curatives on top of bandages and potions (wowforeverclassic, demo footage): Woolen Tourniquet (removes Bleeds), Simple Poultice (cures diseases) and Anti-Venom (cures poisons). First Aid also contributes a camp object — the First Aid Kit, which grants Stamina "like Power Word: Fortitude" and is crafted from Linen Bandages and Refreshing Spring Water — and the Professions-tree Legacy perk Field Medicine shortens the Recently Bandaged duration (5s per rank).
Sources: two outlets now agree potions are First Aid crafts (Icy Veins with beta-data skill levels; wowforeverclassic from demo footage). The exact skill levels (55–275) and the "out of Alchemy" removal still rest on Icy Veins alone — wowforeverclassic explicitly leaves "unclear" whether Alchemy can also make them — so treat those two points as reported-not-confirmed until the client or a second outlet verifies them.
