September 15, 2026 — Blizzard's "That's a Wrap" recap closed out the BlizzCon 2026 esports slate with all five champions. The WoW results fill in the finals line we previewed in our AWC/MDI bracket post.

BlizzCon 2026 champions

Competition Champion Runner-up
Overwatch World Cup Korea (KOR) Saudi Arabia (KSA)
Mythic Dungeon International (MDI) Team Liquid
Arena World Championship (AWC) Gators Back Echo
Hearthstone Masters Tour OTGxhho XiaoT
Blizzard Classic Cup Team Tasteless

WoW finals

MDI: Team Liquid. The dungeon race favorite lived up to the bracket billing from our preview — the team that beat Mandatory in the semi took the championship Sunday.

AWC: Gators Back over Echo. This is the headline result. Echo came in as the three-time defending champion and the strongest name in the bracket, with a title run on the table that would have made it four straight. Gators Back — the clear underdog in most pre-event coverage — won the series and denied the streak.

Beyond WoW

Overwatch World Cup: Korea beat Saudi Arabia in the grand final, keeping the World Cup's strongest national program on top. Hearthstone Masters Tour: OTGxhho beat XiaoT. Blizzard Classic Cup: Team Tasteless claimed the Classic showcase.

All results per Blizzard's official BlizzCon 2026 wrap-up recap. The Deep Dive + Found Photos recap remains the evergreen home for the panel content — this post covers the finals only.
