It favors legacy-style action bars and combat controls throughout.
Shift+1–6 and mouse-wheel page action bars. F assists target, G targets last hostile. Bag binds reversed, older gamepad scheme.
It carries a variable named TOGGLELEGACYSYSTEM for old behavior.
It omits modern housing and ping bindings found in retail profiles.
Marlamin added the file to the community listfile for tracking.
That step proves the file is real, present and now searchable.
It could mean a slim mode, a Classic project or an internal test.
It confirms Blizzard uses Forever internally somewhere in builds.
Legacy bars without housing look Classic-shaped, not retail-shaped.
That shape is why this leg carries the most weight today.
The forum line: medium leg
Before the datamine, a forum thread covered Xbox studio projects.
Poster lolilolailo replied with a short line: Warcraft is Forever.
The account has a past record on Microsoft-side calls.
One line brings no files, no builds and no screenshots.
Insider reputation adds interest but cannot replace evidence.
Treat it as correspondence with the PTR file, not proof of it.
Two legs pointing one way still need a third leg to stand.
That is why this signal stays medium confidence for now.
The domain: weakest leg
Warcraftforever.com re-registered on Sep 2 through a redacted record.
The name dates to 2002 and hosted merch pages around 2021.
Blizzard core domains usually use MarkMonitor, not Cloudflare Registrar.
That mismatch weakens any direct ownership claim a lot.
A re-registered merch name could be defensive or speculative.
Timing one day before the PTR file is notable but not ownership.
Treat the domain as the weakest leg of the three by far.
Interesting timing alone does not name a game or studio.
What it means for Camelot
If Camelot is the codename, Forever could be the public title.
That fits Feb 2025 talk of foundations for the next 20 years.
It also fits Longdale language on a wider vision than one mode.
