The Cozy Sleeping Bag is back in the WoW Forever beta. Current route data points to a level-14 start, a six-quest chain across both continents, and a small experience bonus that is most useful while leveling.
This is beta documentation, not a launch guarantee. Item values, quest availability, and coordinates can change before release. The route below follows the current beta and uses Blizzard Watch's original Season of Discovery route as a cross-check.
Quick facts
- Start level: 14.
- Effect: Current beta data reports 1 percent bonus experience per minute inside the bag, up to 3 stacks.
- Duration: The rested effect lasts two hours after the final stack.
- Cooldown: The bag has a one-hour cooldown after use.
- Food synergy: Well Fed adds 5 percent kill experience, taking the reported bag total to 8 percent kill XP.
- Quest reward: Sturdy Lunchbox, a 12-slot bag.
Route
1. Start on your faction's side
- Alliance: Alexston Farmstead in Westfall, around 37,50. Inspect the burned-out remains for ...and that note you found.
- Horde: Southern Barrens, south of Camp Taurajo, around 46,74. Inspect the matching burned-out remains.
Turn the first quest into the other faction's starting zone. Alliance players go to the Barrens location, and Horde players go to Westfall. Both paths converge on Stepping Stones.
2. Stonetalon Mountains
Head to the empty camp above Sun Rock Retreat at 40.6,52.4 and complete Stepping Stones. Then follow Scramble to the dirt mound just over the hill at 39.6,49.8.
3. Loch Modan
At Stonewrought Dam, climb to the second stone head and inspect the spot at 49.4,12.9 for Wet Job. The route is easy to miss from the dam floor, so check the upper ledge before moving on.
4. Hillsbrad Foothills
Use the cart and tunnel along Thoradin's Wall on the Hillsbrad side. At approximately 87.3,49.6, interact with the bag and satchel on the tunnel wall to finish Eagle's Fist and This Must Be the Place.
What to bring
The chain also hands out a Swiftness Potion and Student Fodder along the way. Expect a little climbing and some backtracking around Stonewrought Dam, but the route stays within low-level zones and does not require a dungeon run.
The practical value is modest. A fully stacked bag adds 3 percent experience, and food raises the kill-XP portion to 8 percent. The route is still worth doing for the 12-slot reward, especially on a fresh leveler, but it should not replace quest completion or first-clear dungeon rewards.
