TL;DR

Blizzard is holding Diablo 4 next season secrets until BlizzCon. You can try some of it next week, but the details stay sealed until the stage.

That seal is the tell. Diablo gets a 4-day window, not a 15-day one.

Drops run Twitch-only Sep 12-15. Serrated Skean dagger at 2 hours. Corroded Cleaver axe at 4 hours. Tintinnabulation mace at 6 hours.

Compare to WoW: 200 Tender at 2h, decor at 4h, mount at 8h, toy at 12h — Twitch Sep 12-27, 15 days. Overwatch runs 8h ladders Day1 and Day2.

Diablo at 6h over 4 days is a launch play, not a retention play. WoW at 12h over 15 days is retention.

For our tracker, the question is stage time. Our Classic+ tracker sits at build 69638 with 42 entries. Our schedule post has venue and free stream. Our hidden-floor post reads the gray map as playable.

If Diablo takes a full panel plus a hands-on block, that is time Classic does not get. If Diablo is a 30-minute season reveal, Classic keeps the hour gap after What's Next.

Watch Sep 12 10:30 PDT Hall D for order. Diablo early means Classic late. Classic late means prime.

Until then, dagger to mace in 6 hours is the ladder. WoW needs 12. Size tells you bet size.
